Qigong and happinessIn this blog article I am going to show you how to Find Your Happily through Qigong.  Qigong is the fourth thing I recommend to find happiness and bring about peace into your life because it is a great way to get a full workout without having to do a vigorous and sweaty exercise.

Exercising is one of those things I do not enjoy, but know that I need to do it.  So, when my husband first introduced me to Qigong I was ecstatic!  For one thing when I do Qigong I feel no pain, which for me is my biggest pet peeve with working out.  And the second thing I love about Qigong is after doing only four minutes of Qigong I literally feel as energetic as I a person who just ran on the treadmill for thirty or so minutes.  For me, it’s just an overall feel good exercise, sort of like yoga, but without all the yoga gear.

Frank Blaney Teaches QigongSo, what is Qigong?  Well, some people refer to Qigong as the Chinese yoga because of the similar mind, body principles.  However, according to Author and Certified Qigong Instructor, Frank Blaney, “Put simply, “Qigong” is family of breathing exercises designed to stimulate “life-energy.””  And, to me this in an accurate description of Qigong because by doing only a few simple movements I feel energized.

Who Should Do Qigong

If you are anything like me whereas you don’t enjoy a long sweaty workout, but you know that you need to do some physical activity that will give you some amazing health benefits, then you should try Qigong.  Here are a list of some of the benefits that Qigong has to offer:

  • Easy to learn
  • No risk of injuries
  • Adaptable to all types of people including those who are bed ridden
  • Intrinsic healing powers

To conclude: I recommend Qigong to help you find your happily.  Qigong is quick, it’s simple and doing it will not only make you feel good, but it will literally make you feel happy.  I do Qigong everyday and sometimes throughout my day because it’s that simple.  And, unlike yoga or other workout activities, I do not need any equipment such as a mat, special clothing or a place to do Qigong.  Because Qigong is something that can be done almost anywhere and anytime.  And, I say almost only because you shouldn’t do Qigong while operating heavy equipment or driving.  Mostly, because in many ways Qigong is a lot like being in hypnosis or meditation.
